The Mid- South BBQ Festival started out many years ago in our little town with a few scarecrows and has evolved into a smalltown tradition. On the third weekend in October, you can find the folks of this town on the square, shopping local vendors tents and choosing between some good BBQ cooked by some local folks who have mastered their craft.
When you come out on Friday night, you will get to cheer on our home town team with a pep rally and can enjoy the game from up town, along with that we will have classic cars everywhere!
On Saturday we start out the day with that smell of smoke rolling through the streets, our local artist set up ready to sell their goods and a some of the most interesting and creative Halloween costumes you have ever seen! We have a kid’s area to keep your littles busy and at game time you can count on some body having a TV tuned in, so you won’t have to miss a second of that Orange and Maroon rival!
So, come on out and join us October 17th and 18th for a weekend of BBQ, Hometown tradition and a whole lot of fun.
