Description

Having a hard time finding the right candidates and keeping your best talent?  Join the TSBDC’s Kayla Miller, a senior certified human resources practitioner, to discuss the challenges and strategies of cultivating a successful workforce.
The TSBDC is a non-profit organization that exists to support economic growth in Tennessee through no-cost consultation.  The TSBDC at MTSU serves 14 counties in southern Middle Tennessee, including Maury County.  We can be found online at tsbdc.org, via phone at 615-893-2745, or at the Maury County Chamber and Economic Alliance every Wednesday.

Kayla Miller is the Associate Director of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at MTSU.  She began her career as a human resource practitioner in 2009, and has over eight years of HR experience.  She spends her time consulting with current and future small business owners in Middle Tennessee, teaching classes to clients and the local community, developing relationships with the lending community, and speaking to students throughout the area about small business ownership.  Kayla is a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources through the Society of Human Resource Management, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham.
