After refreshments, The Guest Chairs, Reverends Joe Evans and Russ Adcox, will offer insights and observations to you and a company of others who care about a greater place to live.
Russ Adcox has served as the senior pastor at Maury Hills Church since 2004. Before that he worked as the General Manager of Retail for Highland Corporation. Russ holds a degree in Business Administration from Lipscomb University and an M.A. in Ministry from Harding School of Theology. He has served on several non-profit boards in Maury County including Zion Christian Academy, Youth Education Foundation and King?s Daughters? School. He currently serves as the president of the ZCA Foundation and is a member of the Columbia Noon Rotary. He is married to Jenny and they have three kids:Lilly, 15; Halle ,12; and Roman, 4. When he?s not working, you will usually find him in the woods hunting or on the river fishing.
Joe Evans has served as the senior pastor at First Presbyterian Church since 2011. Before that he served Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Joe holds a degree in Religion from Presbyterian College and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He has served on several non-profit boards in Maury County including Leadership Maury, YMCA, and the King?s Daughters? School. He has also been the featured preacher on Day 1, a nationally syndicated radio show formally known as the Protestant Hour. He is married to Sara and they have two daughters; Lily ,6, and Cece , 4 When he?s not working you?ll usually find him working in the yard or coaching his younger daughter?s soccer team.
